so there is this really weird and re******d situation now where google checks the machine that you usually sign in from or smth and when the account gets locked(tried password too many times or whatever different machine issue again...), then there is no way to recover your account, because Thunderbird does not support javascript and therefore won't even finish the recovery wizard that pops up, plus you won't be able to do the same recovery option in a regular browser, because google only recognizes the Thunderbird application, L o L .... (because i have only used Thunderbird to read the mail).

so how can i even fix this ********* ******.......

thanks

now i also checked that it doesn't even ask the account creation date anymore and just the random security question, which won't even work after you have entered the verification code via another email account etc?

or are there any older Thunderbird versions that still had the javascript functionality, so that i could use that for the recovery wizard thing?
