I run a number of filters to move mail from various groups into their respective folders. I would like to get the New Mail Sound only for emails that are not so filtered, i.e., for me personally. But the new mail sound plays for all incoming emails. It seems that a solution would be for filter actions to have a Play Sound option. Then I could create a "fake filter" at the end of the filter list that would only play the new mail sound when it didn't get filtered. Possible? TIA Don

I think you could achieve this with Mailbox Alert: disable the built-in sound, then add a a filter to play a sound for new, unmoved messages.

FiltaQuilla has options to add Launch File (e.g. sound file) and Do Not Notify as filter Actions.
