TB used to look nice and had the classic look, up until about a month ago, now i dont like the look./ I downloaded some .xpi files from the actual mozilla theme page. I think its .xpi... anyway, anytime i try to install theme, it says they are corrupt. I know they are not corrupt, just maybe incompatible. How do i get the old classic thunderbird look back rather than this black and white ultra contrast look?

thanks

This is the new look. You can't get the old look in the current version, but you can get some of that colourful look in the current version by installing the Phoenity Icons add-on. Search and install add-ons via Thunderbird's Add-ons Manager and not your browser.

so i need to install an older version then? if so, thats what i will do because the new look is not that great. At least to me. i dont like it haha.

The Phoenity Icons add-on works with v78, so you don't need to downgrade. Honestly, v78 doesn't look that bad besides the boring default icon colours which can be changed to suit your liking.
