Firefox updates will update the current version. If you get and run the full installer, it will overwrite the current version.

I've been using Firefox from 8 months but I never update it before. Now I want to download the latest version of firefox but, I don't know how to update the old version to new one. Do I need to delete the old version and again Install the latest version? although I got very nice information from the link down there but I need more help https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Please guide me about this.

Some versions of the Quantum Firefox change how the files are set up.

Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar. Then Help > About Firefox will tell you what version you have and install any updates.

Once you have installed the newer version, repeat these instructions. You may need to do this several times before you get to the current version.

What version are you using ?

Skipping updates in not a good idea and if you update from an old version (older than 72) then it is possible that you lose data because of files not getting migrated properly.

Can you update via "Help -> About Firefox" ?
