Using Firefox 95.0 This has been going on for about a year. Worked fine before that. I can not answer direct messages at https://www.ancestry.com/messaging. Can't enter text by typing or pasting. And when if did work I would start a reply to a message, I couldn't type anything after few words or if I waited to long to finish message. I have always allowed ancestry.com.

I did Ctrl-I on https://www.ancestry.com/messaging. Non Ancestry Items Under Media: sp.analytics.yahoo.com bat.bing.com Permissions all allowed except Auto Play, Block Audio Open pop-up windows, Block Set Cookies, Allow

On Privacy & Security Browser Privacy, Standard Send websites a "Do Not Track" signal, Always Cookies & Site Data Manage Exceptions, https://www.ancestry.com is allowed.

Block pop-up windows, YES Warn you when websites try to install add-ons, YES

Cleared all cookies & data, allowed ancestry.com Resigned into Ancestry, go to messaging and it would work for a bit then stop mid message.

Contacted Ancestry Support their response "try another browser" & we will report the problem. The way support was talking sounds like they have heard this before.

I also on persons pages at Ancestry I sometimes get the site error message "It looks like you have local storage disabled. While you'll still be able to use the site, you may notice that pages load more slowly. Fix the issue." I Cleared all cookies & data, allowed ancestry.com still comes back.

Could this be due to Ancestry trying to put 3rd party cookies on my cpu? How do I stop this from happening?

Sometimes when a website is not working, it is because of cookie issues. Also, sometimes, 3rd party cookies might be needed by that website.
