In the current Firefox version (95, Mac OS) pressing the ESC button will resize the screen. This is extremely annoying as this button cannot be used any longer to exit full screen videos, full screen documents, modals and popups on website, as doing so will result in resizing the whole browser window.

This wasn't the case in earlier versions. Extremely annoying, willing to switch browser because of this.

Try to toggle the 'browser.fullscreen.exit_on_escape' in about:config.

You, sir, are a pure genius, and have saved me from the hell of frustration. Can I somehow tip you, to show my gratitude? Github, patreon, crypto?

I'm super thankful, really.
