Quicken downloads suddenly saving instead of opening
Until the last upgrade a few days ago, when I went to download Quicken data from my bank (on Firefox at the bank's website, NOT inside the Quicken program), I was given the option of saving or opening the .qfx file. Now, since the upgrade, it goes straight to a file I have to save and then click on.
I have tried adding Quicken files to the Applications settings in the Firefox settings, but it won't recognize anything when I put "Quicken" or ".qfx" in the search box. I have no idea how to fix this.

You can set this pref to false on the about:config page to prevent opening the
download panel on each download.
- browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel = false
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
You may be able to add the file type. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file
Thank you everyone. Looks like this is the new standard for Firefox, and it's frankly over my head to change the settings as instructed by some (I tried). I'll just adapt, but I appreciate everyone responding.
