Hi Folks!

I changed email host and in Thunderbird (TB), copied all messages from the old, previous email account to the new one. I then disabled the previous/old account.

The issue is that now when I open an existing email in the new TB account, the body of the message doesn't appear and I'm prompted for "Enter your password for _____" , where "_____" is the name of the old server.

The tragedy is that I can't see the body/text of many messages. It's as if the email in the new acct is still tied to the old server.

Can anyone shed some light on this and offer a fix please? Cheers!

Turns out it was the extension "Thunderbird Conversations" causing the problem.

Note to others, as this may help. This extension "Thunderbird Conversations" has many issues with little support from the dev. For instance it doesn't as expected with the latest version of TB. Time to uninstall it and move on. I hope this helps others. Cheers!
