This issue needs to be corrected as it is causing problems. As you will see from the attached acreenshots, when a file wants to be downloaded, I get the expected Ask options and even though I selected Open with Adobe it still downloads the file. Picture 1 shows the options, picture 2 shows the file open in Adobe, picture 3 shows it downloaded to my PC and picture 4 shows that I selected Always ask you where to save files so why is the file still downloading. It creates a nuisance as I only want to open most files and if I decide to save them, I can do that so why is Firefox still saving files whether I want to or not !?! Now I have to go to the file, delete it and empty the recycle bin for security reasons so this issue needs to be resolved as it used to work fine in previous version of Firefox. Maybe there is a setting that I need to change so any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. I am currently running Firefox 109.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10, Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2486). Thanks.
