Constant Crashing

more options

I'm running a Tiny11 vm and I'm constantly crashing in firefox. I close all unnecessary tabs, yet seemingly at random firefox keeps crashing. Attached are some submitted crash reports. I'm mostly just browsing websites, and sometimes opening PDFs in firefox. The only other open programs I have are things like eM Client (email client), and file explorer.

Hello,

I understand that you're experiencing constant crashing issues with Firefox on your Windows 10 system. As a Firefox Support Forum volunteer, I'm here to assist you with troubleshooting this problem.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that you are using Firefox version 111.0 on a Tiny11 virtual machine. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the crashing issue:

Update Firefox: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Firefox. Visit the official Mozilla website and download the latest version compatible with your operating system.

Disable extensions: Sometimes, incompatible or outdated extensions can cause crashes. Try disabling all extensions and see if the crashing issue persists. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting "Add-ons," and then disabling each extension individually.

Reset Firefox settings: Resetting Firefox can help resolve various issues. To do this, go to the Firefox menu, select "Help," and choose "Troubleshooting Information." In the Troubleshooting Information page, click on the "Refresh Firefox" button.

Check for conflicting software: Certain programs or applications installed on your computer can conflict with Firefox and cause crashes. Temporarily disable or uninstall any recently installed software and check if the crashing issue is resolved.

Create a new profile: Sometimes, issues can be specific to your Firefox profile. Create a new profile and check if the crashing problem persists. You can create a new profile by running Firefox with the "-P" command-line argument.

If the issue continues after trying these steps, please provide the crash reports you mentioned so that we can further analyze the problem. Additionally, it would be helpful to know if there are any error messages displayed when Firefox crashes.

I hope these suggestions help in resolving the crashing problem you're experiencing. Feel free to ask any further questions or provide additional details, and I'll be glad to assist you.

Best regards, Firefox Support Forum Volunteer

I don't want to sound lazy, but those crash reports IDs are a bear to type. Could you copy and paste them into a reply as plain text (here at https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1417097, not by email)? Thanks.
