A very strange problem uploading images to Facebook and also to a forum from my desktop produces a washed out image. If I upload the same image file to the same location from another computer (laptop) it looks completely normal.

I am running latest build freshly installed of Firefox (did this as part of trouble shooting). I tried it on Firefox ESR and it still did it. Version is 121.0 64 bit.

Both Facebook and the forum save a compressed version of the image, I have copied the original and downloaded version from the forum below. The forum version has increased in size but the histogram has changed, They are both tagged sRGB so it doesn't appear to be a color management issue.

I tried uploading the same file from my desktop using edge browser and this worked fine. It is only the combination of my desktop and Firefox that has this problem and it has the issue in two places so far Facebook and on online forum I frequent. Uploads to Google drive are working fine.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what the issue might be? - it is clearly connected to Firefox which seems to be triggering something in the forum software and in Facebook, that does not occur from the laptop as I can upload things from edge browser just fine. Firefox should just deliver the image to the new location I would think???

Anyone have any thoughts on why it would be doing this. Invision are not much help even though it appears they are doing the image processing. I'm asking here as it seems to be restricted to the installation of firefox on this one machine.
