I am constantly getting a message on my Win computer saying an update for Firefox is available? Happens all day, many times a day. But when I press update, nothing happens.

Hi Oscar, it looks like your Firefox Extended Support Release 115 has paused at 115.10.0esr. The current version is 115.13.0esr. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/115.13.0/releasenotes/

Does the method of going to the "About" dialog work? See the steps in: Update Firefox to the latest release.

If not...

I assume you originally installed from Mozilla's website, and not the Microsoft store? In that case, you can update by downloading a complete installer. This is a larger file, but it should detect your existing installation and perform an update.

Did you possibly update the OS from Windows 7 or 8 to your current Windows 11 OS as in that case you might have been placed on the 115 ESR update channel ?

Do you want to keep using the ESR version (currently 115.13.0) or possibly switch to the regular release (128.0.3) ?
