Hi. I have various folders, for different businesses.. And when browsing I need to save a certain website for both businesses, like a trade show for example. But a bookmark can only be saved in one folder. I refuse to belive this is a thing in 2024.. Is there a solution? A hack? I know if I click on a different page of a webiste it will save, but some pages only have one page url.. I thought maybe changing the name of the bookmark might work but it doesn't. Any help appreciated.

If you open Settings > Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks you can copy and paste them wherever you like as many times as you like.

You also can create multiple copies of current page by dragging the padlock or the tab to a folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar or to the sidebar or to the Bookmarks Menu button instead of clicking the highlighted star what will make you edit this bookmark.

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button Bookmark Menu icon (star on tray) that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list and drag the Library button that gives access to recent bookmarks and history from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar. The Bookmarks Menu button has a "View bookmarks sidebar" menu item.

See "How do I add the Bookmarks Menu button to the toolbar?"

Thank, was hard to follow a bit of that... But the other copy paste method worked..

Can I just ask, I had my old mac using Firefox, man I must have had 1000s of book marks.. I was not signed into Firefox I don't think anyway... Lost them all when my last mac got so slow, can you envision any way to get them back?

Yes, providing the computer still works.

At the top of Manage Bookmarks is 'Import and Backup.' Click that on the old computer and then 'Export Bookmarks to HTML.' Save that file to an SD card or some such and stick it in your new machine. Go to Manage Bookmarks again, click 'Import and Backup' and this time choose 'Import Bookmarks from HTML.' That will open a file browser window that you can navigate to the HTML file on your SD card and choose that.
