Firefox 3.6.3 won't open, was crashing Win 7 without report, something seriously wrong here, thanks

Today Firefox 3.6.3 started crashing windows 7 for no reason. When I'd start it up again it would crash W7 within 5 seconds. Could not access any menu or anything. No crash report. Will not open in safe mode, in fact will not open at all. Have reinstalled several times but won't open, can't uninstall, say's it's uninstalled even though it is in the directory.
