When Ff starts up, often it says "New updates are available". I select the ones I want, and while they're loading I do other things to start my work day. Then I go back to Ff and it says "The following add-ons have been installed. Click here to close". I click, and then it proceeds to load the add-ons and negotiate with the office network and so on. This takes more time, during which I do other things, or twiddle my thumbs, instead of doing whatever I opened Ff to do.

PS: If this has already been answered, can someone please point me to the answer? Search engine says "Found 1097 results for add-ons installed in English" and I'm not about to check 110 pages of ten queries each
