I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 and installed firefox. Everytime I access the internet with firefox the security box pops up that it needs my permission to continue. Why is this happening and how to I get this to stop.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== immediately after I installed firefox

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator. Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties". In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected. You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.

It is also possible that other programs that start with Firefox like the Java Quick starter are causing this issue, so if the above doesn't solve it then look further.
