On some of my pages at my web site FF will stop loading before all of the pictures are fully loaded. Internet Explorer usually loads all before it says done on the status bar. Is there a way to tell Firefox to stay active longer or until all items load? I am not getting an error message. Page just stops loading and says done with half loaded pictures.

Does Firefox (re)load the full image if you go to Tools > Page Info > Media ?

You can also try to right-click such an incomplete image and middle click the View Image item.

At Tools > Page Info > Media it will show the picture if you highlite it but it stays grayed out and does not show in the page. When you click reload image it will usually load and usually all will load on a reload page.

This may be a problem with the people who handle the storage also, but this does seam to be targeted to Firefox and not IE8.

I have high speed internet through a cable service and the page with most or all pictures will load with lightning speed but if not it will time out. I suspect that IE8 keeps the request for image open longer than Firefox.

I am still looking for answers to this problem and have not seen anything constructive yet. Can this problem be solved at the browser end. I am not having good luck with my service provider.

It would seem that Mozilla is not interested in finding answers and I am using my IE8 more because it seems to work better.

How about providing the URL for your website, and maybe the specific page where you have that problem?
