I am having trouble trying to do a right-click "save as" on web images. File type field is blank. I wasn't having this issue before.

When I try to save an image, I do get a window to select which file to save to. However, the field for file type is blank. If I right-click to view image info, all info is there including file type. If I try a "save as" there too I do not get a file type to save it as.

Try "Reset Download Actions": http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions

You may also need to "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Safe mode start window or try only reset the browser.download prefs on the about:config page.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I'm still having no luck. I've gone to the about:config page and reset all download and extension listings to DEFAULT. After that not working, I uninstalled Foxfire and reinstalled and still same issue. I know it's something with my Foxfire because IE and Chrome allow me to "save as" images. I just can't figure out why I'm not able to now with Foxfire.
