With certain web sites & emails Firefox will not print full pages, it either breaks a page into two or lops off a significant portion of text. Can this be fixed?
One site where this occurs (timbersilwood) is set forth below. Another is match.com. With timbersilwood printing with Firefox split the first page (photo and first sentence on one page and "Authorized Distributors" on a second page) and failed to print the right hand portion of the web page. When accessing match.com Firefox refuses to print any text after the first page except for the last tag lines. The "print preview" window in Windows reflects these errors. The same web pages are printed perfectly with Internet Explorer and the "print preview" window shows them correctly. I am having the same problem on occasion with automatically generated emails such as confirmations from suppliers.
Second question: I am also having a problem with Firefox recognizing a default printer. My operating system has several printers loaded. When I change default printers Firefox will not recognize the new default and defaults to the prior default printer until after numerous manual changes. A restart of the computer does not solve the problem!

1. That is caused by a few different Bugs in Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions. It looks like it was fixed for Firefox 4.0.
2. Firefox doesn't go by the "system default printer". Firefox goes by the last used printer in Firefox as being the "default" in Firefox. It will remember the "last used in Firefox" and will use that printer until you switch to another printer and then remember that one.
Installed Firefox 4.42.0 and it fails to default to the last used printer on numerous occasions. It seems to prefer my HP 2840 notwithstanding that the Brother MFC 7340 is the default for Windows. Once I use the HP 2840 followed by the Brother, Firefox keeps going back to the HP for web printing. Is there a fix for this?
