Firefox wont print off the internet but Safari will..... why?
When I try to print a page off the Internet, often it will not print. You tell it to print, the print box opens, you again tell it to print but nothing happens. Looking at the printer "Que", it says "On Hold". When you try to resume printing it deletes the job entirely. It can be a .Doc or .PDF but still will not print. I open Safari and it prints first try no problem. I talked to HP about the printer and they suggested trying Safari and it worked. They said the problem lies with FoxFire. Tonight I wanted to print a return authorization from Amazon, but was unable with FireFox but Safari worked perfectly. Computer is Imac OS 10.6

Are you sure you chose the correct printer from the menu? Safari can have different settings then FireFox that may have the correct printer as default.
I only have the one printer, and it shows up when I tell it to print, but with Firefox the job goes into the printer "Que" but it says "on Hold". When I take it off hold, or tell it to continue, it deletes the print job. I have uninstalled the printer, reinstalled it, downloaded new drivers from HP, talked to HP on the phone and I still have the same problem. The printer is HP Office Jet 7000 wide format, model E809a. It is still under warranty. It prints fine from any document that I created, but refuses to print a downloaded document even a .PDF wont print while in FoxFire, but the same document will print in Safari!! Go figger??
