I use firefox. I got the urgent message that I needed to download the upgrade. When attempting to do so, I got the message that said "the operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items. I'm stuck.

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever release for Mac OSX 10.3.9 and earlier versions. Get it here:

I'm running OSX 10.6.6 (later than 10.3.9, obviously) and have the same problem. Any other ideas?

  • Install the new version that you have downloaded.
