How can I get Roboform Form Fill to be available in Firefox 4.0
When I had Firefox 3.o I was able to have the roboform Form fill in a area with the roboform icon. With Firefox 4.0 I can't seem to add in Roboform Forrm Fill anywhere in the top section of firefox

Do you have version 6 of Roboform? For Firefox 4 you need to use Roboform version 7, Roboform have not updated version 6 to work with Firefox 4.
An alternative free password manager that works with Firefox 4 is LastPass Password Manager - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager
actually there is a workaround. all credits to swmyp from ru -board
- Install Roboform 7.2.7
- Copy folder "c:\Program Files\Siber Systems\AI RoboForm\Firefox\"
- Install Roboform 6.10.2 -dont untick option to install adapter for firefox
- Replace "c:\Program Files\Siber Systems\AI RoboForm\Firefox\" with your copy from 7.2.7 version
now u should have working 6.10.2 roboform with latest adapter from 7.2.7
If toolbar didnt appear right away after restart, remove Roboform toolbar extention from add-ons.

I have version 6.10.2 but at this point I have gone back to Firefox Version 3.6.16 and believe I will stay there until the kinks are gone in Ver 4.0 . MeOminG your help looks like it should work and will try it when ready to go back to Firefox 4,0 Thanks & Cheers jackcole
That is a brilliant fix - it worked for me, but to get it to do so I had to disable the Roboform toolbar in Firefox, even though I thought I had disabled all toolbars via Internet Explorer (with which RF continues to work OK). The key step seems to be to tick the box in RF Options/Adapter that allows Roboform to attach to Firefoxeven if an adapter is not installed.
I tried this fix and was never able to get Form Fill to work. I use Roboform exclusively from the right-click context menu and Form Fill does not work with this fix.
