How do I stop what's new page from starting with firefox. I have two tabs each time, the what's new page and then my home page behind it. I have checked the options and changed to start with my home page and then using a blank page, which starts with what's new and not my home page. Please send instructions on how to stop the what's new from starting. thankyou

Hi there,

I would recommend going back to the General tab of the Options menu. Click on the Firefox button > click Options > click on the General tab. From the dropdown for When Firefox Starts, choose Show my homepage. Also, be sure to check the address for your homepage. Firefox allows you to use a little "trick" to start more than one "homepage" on startup by adding a vertical pipe | between addresses (this can be performed by holding the shift key and pressing the button above the Enter or Return key). If you see the vertical pipe remove it along with the address for the "What's New" page.

Hope that helps. Mike

Thanks Mike for the help, but there is no vertical pipe in between addresses where you said to look. I have my homepage in the box, and Firefox opens with two tabs, what'snew and my homepage. IF I put a blank page in there, Firefox opens at whatsnew page. Once again, thanks for the help, but it didn't work.
