How can I move the "booksmarks" button and the "Home" button to the left side of the FF window? I know the Bookmarks will have to be or look like one of hte quick launch tabs, but I do believe the Home button can be moved. Also, can the "refresh" button be moved (again) to the left of the screen?

Moderately helpful and actually required some trial and error before I figured it out. Open up the customization menu, and as long as the pop window is open, you can drag and drop both buttons (home and refresh, also the stop button) to the left side.

Firefox 4 uses a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end side of the location bar.

To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:

  • Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
  • Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
  • Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
  • Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.

Very easy to do! Thanks!

I tried to do that w/ my "bookmarks" icon. When I hit "done" on the customize toolbar box it disappears. When I go back into the box it shows up while the box is open. Then gone again when I close.
