I have a problem uploading a folder to documents. The folder I am trying to upload contains several pictures which would take too long to upload one by one. I have checked that "Enable JavaScript" is ticked. Also checked JavaScript Advanced settings. "Raise or lower windows" is the only item that is not ticked. My OS is Ubuntu 11.04 and my browser is Firefox version 4.0.1.

Uploading to where exactly?

Also Java and JavaScript are not at all related. http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript_is_not_Java

Thank you James. I am trying to upload to "Documents" on the Google website. I have saved files there quite a few times and intend to make use of this Google facility more often; using it like a "back up" in case my local storage fails. Of course, saving a lot of pictures one by one is tedious and time-absorbing. This morning I did save a whole bunch of pictures for a friend of mine (on his computer) all in one go. Piece of cake! So it must be some wrong setting on my computer which is causing me the problem. I am going to have a look at the URL you suggested; maybe I will start to understand the difference between Java and JavaScript. Quite frankly I did not realise that they are different!! Silly me!!!
