Starting today, I can't game thru facebook because firefox keeps putting me in a secure status. It won't let me toggle because it won't stay in a non-secure status after I allow a non-secure status. I went to my profile to go back to the original default, per your instructions. I searched for the file with 'default' in the tiotle, but no such filr existed. And I'm not certain that this would resolve the issue anyway. I need to stay in http when I'm Facebook gaming.

Check your installed extensions for one named HTTPS Everywhere. You probably need to set an exception for Facebook and related domains.

I could not complete the instructions you linked me to. I went to tools>Add ons. That took me to the add-on manager page. There was no HTTPS Everwhere link. However the was a HTTP requester add-on link that would allow for HTTP sites, but when I tried to install it, I was told that it was incompatible with Firefox 5.0.

Can you post your extensions as listed on the Help > Troubleshooting Information page ?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
