I'm trying to do my FAFSA application online, and FAFSA says my current browser isn't supported. I just upgraded to Windows 7, and I'm running Firefow 6.0. How do I get to Firefox 3.5 or 3.6, which is what FAFSA supports.
Isn't it going backward to use Firefox 3.5 or 3.6 instead of Firefox 6?

Ya way backwards, I would just use Internet Explorer for the site.
I will give you the link to 3.6 but if you don't know how to go backwards it could be a real mess. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I did contact the FAFSA support staff directly, but they only repeated the information on their site about the supported browsers - see here.
I guess you have a couple of options:
- Attempt to use Firefox 6 and see how you go.
- Downgrade to Firefox 3.6 - see Install an older version of Firefox.
- For the purposes of completing your application use one of the supported browsers, other than Firefox, such as IE8 (which may already be on your PC).
Mozilla Firefox Portable Edition
Install Firefox Portable 3.6.20 to use at that web site. It won't affect your current version of Firefox at all.
Check and tell if its working.
