I'm using Firefox 7 and the icons in the navigation toolbar are all grey. How do I get the colours back?
Since I've upgraded to version 7, all the icons on my navigation toolbar (home page, back, print etc) are coloured grey instead of their usual bright colours. Can I make them appear coloured again? I find it much easier to quickly click the one I want when the colours are different to each other.
I've tried right-clicking in the toolbar are and gone to customise, but it only gives the option to add/remove icons or make them smaller, not to change their colour. (The list of icons available also shows them in grey, not colour like on my colleague's computer.)
Thanks for any help with this :-)

Try a different Firefox theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes):
- Firefox 3 theme for Firefox 4: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-3-theme-for-firefox/
Alle antwurden (4)
-> Switch to the default theme
-> Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
Check and tell if its working.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I followed all your suggestions, which were nice and clear thanks, but unfortunately nothing worked - my icons are still just grey!
I'm wondering if anyone actually has Firefox 7 with coloured icons on the navigation toolbar, or if they are just designed to be grey only in this version?

Hi Cor-el
Thank you for that suggestion - it worked a treat! I'm normally very wary of downloading anything, especially add-ons etc, but I took the plunge and now my toolbar is colourful again. (I think I've sacrificed the fancy background, but I'd much rather have the icons in colour, so I don't mind.) Thank you so much! Cheers, Sam :-)
