Forgetting a website's history, but don't delete its cookie?

I have a pinned website that refreshes itself every minute or so. I don't want it flooding my history with that website. It seemed a version or two ago I was able to forget the website without it deleting its cookie, but now that doesn't seem to be the case. Because it deletes the cookie, I have to re-authenticate, but then that re-enables the history for that site.

I need to be able to forget the site's history, but maintain its cookie. Is there a way to do that?
