I accidentally ticked on "Don't ask me again" and then i chose "Save" from options ..save, quit , cancel when i closed firefox.

Since that time i never get a warning message when i am about to close firefox and every time i start the firefox , it comes up with my last closed tabs .

I already edited in about:config value set to true in ""browserWarnOnQuit" and it doesnt work for me .

Can u help me with this problem please?

Hi,

I'm sorry you are having this problem. You can try to set this in your preferences instead.

1. Click the Firefox button and select Preferences.

2. In the screen that appears, click the Tabs button.

3. On the Tabs screen there are some options with check boxes.

4. Check the box to 'Warn me when closing multiple tabs'. That might help with the first part of your question.

For the second part of your question, you can also use the Preferences, I think.

1. Click the Firefox button and select Preferences.

2. On the Preferences screen, click the General tab.

3. On the General tab there is a drop-down menu at the top next to the words 'When Firefox Starts'.

4. If you don't want to open the last closed tabs anymore, select Show my home page or Show a blank page from the drop-down menu next to When Firefox Starts.

Thanks, Michelle

Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows or otherwise have problems with restoring tabs.
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.

You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle the value with a double left-click.
