Firefox crashes whenever I try to open a link from Facebook? I need somebody involved in the upgrade to help me, I don't want to go to a forum and post a question to a load of people when I have no idea if they are qualified to give me advice!

I updated Firefox to the latest release on 1/8/12. Now every time I click on a link to go to youtube, zynga or other links on Facebook, Firefox crashes. I would love to be able to go back to the Firefox I had before 1/8/12, but I cannot find out how to do that. I have almost zero knowledge of computer software and how it all works, the "error reports" and the mumbo=jumbo that people talk about on the "forums" mean nothing to me, I just want an edition of Firefox that works so I don't have to go back to using IE8.
