I want to clear the search results for certain searches. When I search for certain keywords I get old SERPs that I know are not current. If I use a different machine I get current results. I can't find how to clear this.

I am tracking the position of my own website in search rankings. For a short while it appeared on page 1 for certain keywords. It is now on page 2 or 3, (as seen by other users, and by me when using another machine or browser) but when I search on my machine I only see the old results pages showing it at the top of page 1. How can I clear these old results pages?

If you press Ctrl and F5 at the same time, does that change? I believe Google (I'm assuming that is what you are referring to) changes search results somewhat based on if you are signed in and your preferences, etc. Try signing out of google if you are signed in.

Ha! That was a lightening quick reply. Ctrl +F5 didn't work - but as soon as I signed out the results updated.

Thank you! You have saved me much frustration!
