I had about 10 user accounts stored for a website.

I cleared my cache yesterday and when i went to sign back in only about 4 of them were listed in the drop down list.

I checked under Options and Security and all the accounts are still listed there, they simply do not appear in the drop down list any longer.

I went back to the website, re-entered the email and password and logged in. FF did not prompt me to save them again.

Is there an easy way to get them restored to the drop down list or do i need to delete them all and then re save all of them?

Don't Delete Cookies of websites on which you have stored Usernames & Passwords, see this article for more info on Cookies -> Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer

To re-save your Usernames & Passwords on websites, follow the instructions below:

-> IF your Username & Password is already stored by Firefox, you need to Delete it

-> IF your Username & Password is not currently stored by Firefox yet, go to the Website

  • Enter Username & Password
  • on the website, place Checkmark on Keep Me Signed-in or Remember Me option
  • click Log-in or Sign-in button (see attached Screenshots #2, #3)
  • Firefox will ask if you want Firefox to Remember your Username & Password (see attached screenshot#1) on this site
  • click the Remember Password button

Check and tell if its working. Also see this thread -> https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/870347

-> IF you use Clear Recent History feature, DO NOT select Cookies, Forms and Search History, Active Logins, Site Preferences

-> IF you use Privacy Cleanup softwares like CCleaner etc., DON'T SELECT FIREFOX IN ITS SETTINGS. These softwares can be responsible for Deleting your Firefox Settings.

Clearing cookies shouldn't have any effect on suggestions in the drop down list.

Clearing cookies will remove the logged in status and clear automatic login cookies, requiring to log in again.
It is possible that the names are saved from another submit domain because the server is using server balancing with more than one domain to spread the load.
