Hi, I just upgraded my Macbook Pro from Mac OS X 10.6.3 to 10.8. I used Firefox 14.0.1 both before and after and I have noticed a sharp decrease in the program's responsiveness to the three-finger swipe to go forward/back. (10.8 switches this gesture to two fingers, but I switched it back to three in System Preferences.) Sometimes it works first try, sometimes 5th try. Any ideas?

I have the same problem but don't see any fixes for it yet. For now, if you just use the two finger scroll gesture to scroll up/down just a hair, the back/forward gesture works if you try again. It's a bit annoying, but saves you from mousing "all the way" up to the back/forward buttons in the browser. Hope it helps,
