Oracle Application: R12.1.3 Firefox Version: 15.0.1

Oracle form is not launching and displays below message.

"In order to access this application, you must install the J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_07. To install this plugin, click here to download the oaj2se.exe executable. Once the download is complete, double-click the oaj2se.exe file to install the plugin. You will be prompted to restart your browser when the installation is complete."

Java version is already installed and even I downloaded and installed from the link in this message. But not working.

In my colleague's PC, it is working, he has below plugins in his firefox but not in my firefox. From where can I get these? I tried installing these java versions after installing firefox. But not appearing on firefox plug-in page.

Java Development toolkit 6.0.270.7 6.0.270.7 Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U27 6.0.270.7

I uninstalled JDK 6 update 27 and installed again.. Then when opened firefox, it asked to install java 7 plugin... But it didnt help to solve my problem.. My colleague is having plugin 6. Apps form is launching perfectly in his PC.

So do you mean, in latest installation of firefox, it will not allow to install java plugin 6?

No.. it wont help me.. We were told to restrict the java update to 6 as Oracle application may behave differently with latest java updates...

My system has admin privileges so once the java got updated. But my friend doesnt have admin rights, so all his software versions are remain the same.

So your comments means, I can not go back to java 6 plugins in firefox anymore?

My privileges adversely affected me...:)
