This started with 16.0.2. Have all the latest updates of flash and plugins. Have tried all the steps on all the pages you have about crashes and nothing seems to fix this. Have uninstalled both Firefox and flash and installed earlier versions of both, still no dice. Problem is still present in safe mode.

Been 2 weeks and nothing seems to fix this.

Hello imirradiated, if you do not already done, try to check one-by-one your plugins to see if the problem is there : Determining if a plugin is the problem

(in safe mode the status of plugins is not affected)

thank you

Some websites use the Silverlight plugin to upload files. Other plugins that may be used for uploading may be Flash or Java.

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:

  • disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
  • disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • downgrade the Flash player to version 10.3 or 11.2

I have done all of the above but the problem remains. Works great in Internet Explorer.
