In "Show All Bookmarks" when I search bookmarks for a link I can never see what Bookmark "Folder" the found link is located in? !

The "Show All Bookmarks" window should have a textbox that says what bookmark "folder" the searched link is located in so that you can find it in your bookmarks. Why leave this search result information out?

Yes, this is a longstanding limitation of that window.

You can use an extension to add a folder column, and show either the immediate parent folder or the entire folder path.

  • Use the extension's Options dialog to show the full hierarchy if your bookmarks are deeply nested. You can access this from:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions

There should be an Options button for Show Parent Folder.

Does that work?
