I am using FF 26 and the only available comment blocker for youtube does not work. See further comments on the add on support page from numerous users who also find youtube almost unusable without the comments being blocked. If chrome allowed downloads, I would switch. This is annoying.

Hello riclark93,

Which addon are you referring to? Some developers need time to update their addons to support the current Firefox release. In some cases, the addon can still work in updated versions of Firefox although the addon states that it doesn't support it.

You can give overriding the version check a try and see how it goes. You can do that by either installing the Nightly Tester Tools addon or following the steps mentioned in How to Force Install Incompatible Addons in Firefox.

I hope that helps

Have a nice day
