I have had to move from Ubuntu One to Insync and the .thunderbird folder needs to be in the Insync folder to sync with all 3 computers. Is there a way to move it so that I can sync all files and settings? I can move mail storage and local folders but what about calendar and other data? I'm using Ubuntu 13.10

You can probably create a symlink, but syncing profiles this way is not something I'd do.

It looks like that will be the way to go - thanks christ1

have you considered using imap mail and synchronized calendars to a server. That is really how it is meant to work. Thunderbird has no idea about network drives or other programs interfering with it's files and they almost invariably cause massive headaches for the parties involved.

Thanks Matt - I think I have solved it now. I don't like Imap and not all mail systems support it anyway.
