How to retrieve bookmarks from old sync system? I have sync key.
I have used Firefox sync in past and I did not use it lately. Now I have installed new Firefox version 29 and I have created new sync account. I still have sync key that was sent to my email address when I created the Sync account for the first time with old Firefox. Can I retrieve data from old account with my Sync key?

hello hardcoremore, in this case you'd probably have to use a workaround and download the prior firefox version, disable automatic updating for the moment (in options > advanced > update), link it to the old sync account and upgrade after you have successfully restored your data this way...
I am having the same problem, it's not a good solution to uninstall old version and import bookmarks using sync key. As a software released in the market, it should be support old sync also. Means there is a provision to support sync key in the current version along with sign on mechanism.
Firefox 29.0 does "support" the older version of Sync, but the user's Sync account needs to be updated properly. Problem here is that the Owner of this thread created a new Sync account, without updating his older Sync account.

Thanks for reply.
I have used the same Sync account, didn't create new account. But this time it was asked to me login, instead of Sync key. After I entered my credentials I didn't see any bookmarks corresponding to my old account.
Finally only one question, is there any provision to import firefox stuff using Sync key to existing key?
Appreciate if your response will resolve my issue :)
