Lately, whenever i go to download an image it never finishes downloading. I usually have to close Firefox completely then restart it for it to finish the download. When i click the arrow on the toolbar it says

Whatever.jpg the bar is fully green but under that it says Unknown time remaining -0 bytes. Ive tried canceling the download & retrying but it still doesn't finish. I've also tried clearing my cache & cookies but still no luck

Are you downloading a file, or a picture on the screen?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar

Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.
