When I tried to click the bookmark star nothing happened. The star was solid blue. I opened another tab and went to a web site and the star was white in the centre and then it allowed me to bookmark. Went back to the other tab, star was still solid blue and i am unable to bookmark the site? What does this mean? Has the site blocked bookmaring?

Hello,

It may already have been bookmarked - check your Unsorted Bookmarks:

  • Bookmarks (or Bookmarks-29) > Unsorted Bookmarks

Pages that are bookmarked and not placed into any folder go to the Unsorted Bookmarks for you to organize at a later date. See Bookmarks in Firefox

Hi, Thanks for thr reply.

I do use bookmarks quite a lot and know that when you bookmark a page it goes into the unsorted file.

Shortly after having this problem the browser crashed. After restarting i did manage to bookmark the site.

Thanks
