The website of my newspaper allows me to post a comment, but while composing the comment, the page gets refreshed and all the stuff I just typed had disappeared. Then I can start again. How to prevent the refresh?

Hello, There is an option in the Advanced Options section of the Firefox menu that enables a warning when a page wants to redirect under Accessibility. Turn that on and it should warn you.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

Note that some websites use JavaScript or a meta tag to reload the pages automatically. I don't think that the setting in accessibility will prevent this page reload.
