I follow these instructions:

To add the site-specific engine, visit the website for your desired search engine. Click on the magnifying glass on the Search bar,

then click on Add "YouTube Video Search". 

Even if I'm on the youtube website, I do not see

Have you looked at the bottom of the list?

Add to Search Bar {web link} Make any pages' search functionality available in the Search Bar

Did you check in "Options > Search" that you do not already have installed this search engine?

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
