hi again barbara, thanks for following up with this information. it seems that your system is lacking a graphics driver, which unfortunately causes this bug you're experiencing in firefox. please install this driver from ati/amd which should match your configuration and get you back to the speed you're used to: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%207%20-%2064

hello, you are probably lacking a right graphics driver for your system. could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on... thank you
