I set up one of my email accounts (bellsouth) to work through Thunderbird. It was easy to set up. But when I downloaded the emails, it did not include the emails I sent. Only the incoming one. Why?

Also, I am unable to set up another email account on this laptop to work link up with Thunderbird. When I try to set it up, it shows me the first account I successfully set up. I want to set up a 2nd account.

Sounds like you set up your first account as POP. POP only downloads from the Inbox. If you want more folders to sync you need IMAP email from your provider and the account added to Thunderbird as IMAP.

I cannot begin to guess what you have or haven't done to add a second account. From the menu bar select File-New-Existing Mail Account If the menu bar is not showing press the alt key.

Or

From the AppMenu button select New Message-Existing Mail Account

Hopefully you have an existing second account established with your email provider. If not, do that first.
