I have a few alternate facebook accounts and want to delete them and have followed the instructions given in facebook to deactivate but they were not deactivated. So I tried to delete them and have been unable to do that either. Instead of logging in to my main account Firefox logs me in to an alternate account. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hello,

Please clear your cache and cookies and close the accounts you wish by logging into them and doing so. Please note we do NOT provide Facebook support.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the "Clear Now" button.

Further information can be found in the Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox article.

Thank you.
