Hi! I installed Firefox 64 developer edition in order to test an java applet in 64 bit environment, but Firefox 64 lacks support for Java 64. (Yes, I tested my applet in 32 bit environment!)

Of course I have to switch to Linux ... When will be available Java64 on Firefox64 (Windows) ??

Regards Andrea

HI Andrea, Firefox 64bit will not be available for support for another version. I do not have an eta for the support yet currently.

The Win64 Firefox to be more specific as of Firefox 41.0 only has the 64-bit Flash Player white listed.

If you want to use other Plugins on Windows you need to use 32-bit Firefox.

Since you are Testing builds on the Aurora aka Developer Edition channel (which also gets ch3eckins almost everyday so there for a update each of those days) you are seeing this change before Firefox 41.0 release comes.

The Firefox 41.0 may likely be the first to have Win64 for Release unless it changes again as it was initially going to be 40.0

The Firefox 41.0 will be moving to Beta channel next week as Firefox 40.0 will be out next Tuesday.
