I've set "browser.newtab.url" parameter to "about:blank" in Firefox Developer Edition, but it still opens a "about:newtab" page. I'd like to see about:blank (not that I don't like about:newtab, my MultiFox add-on doesn't work without about:blank). Thank you.

Hi, from firefox 41 you need to use the New Tab Override (browser.newtab.url replacement) to make changes to the New Tab.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

Thank you, it works. Unfortunately, turned out it doesn't fix MultiFox, but I'll ask author about that.
