I have two E-Mail addresses. One is G-Mail. The other was a local telephone company. The second adderss has been closed and I eliminated it from Thunderbird. But every E-Mail that I get on my G-Mail account is automatically forwarded to the other account so I get a "Delivery Failure" notice with every E-Mail. How do I stop this automatic forwarding.

If you did this in Thunderbird, which seems likely (as you're getting the error message) then it would be using a Message Filter, usually found under Tools.

Or, if you select the account itself, you should see the page called "Account Central" where there is an option to work with your filters, outlined in red in my attached picture.
